Tau Beta Sigma - Beta Xi
April 12th, 1958
Beta Xi became the 62nd chapter of Tau Beta Sigma after being installed at the University of Florida by 12 college bandswomen.
July 29th, 1987
Won the Grace & A. Frank Martin Chapter Leadership Award at the 1987 National Convention
1985 - Present
Selected as Chapter Leadership Finalists every few years among other outstanding TBS chapters!
Present:
Sisterhood:
We are a service organization, but the bonds we have as a sisterhood is what sets up apart from other organizations. The traditions of friendship and unity set by the sisters before us tie us all to one another and to different generations of sisters.
Service:
Our main role as an organization is to serve the UF bands. Our tasks include mending uniforms, chair setups, receptions, and much more!
